The Rio Marié fishing package is a premium, 6-day guided peacock bass fishing trip deep inside the Brazilian Amazon, aboard the luxurious Untamed Amazon floating hotel. This remote destination is known as the “River of Giants” and offers some of the most productive waters for trophy peacock bass in the world. Located in the northwest Amazon near the Colombian border, the Rio Marié is a pristine tributary of the upper Rio Negro basin, flowing through an extensive Indigenous Territory with over 800 km of untouched rivers, tributaries, and lakes. This protected environment supports an outstanding population of giant peacock bass, many of which average over 10 lbs, with frequent world-class trophies.
Your 7-night home on the river is the Untamed Amazon, a purpose-built liveaboard vessel designed for comfort and remote fishing. It accommodates up to 12 anglers in 8 private air-conditioned suites with private bathrooms, spacious living and dining areas, and relaxing lounges for downtime after fishing.
The Rio Marié operation is primarily fly-fishing focused, though bait-casting may be available in select weeks. Each angler fishes from a fully-equipped skiff with two professional guides, including an experienced fly guide and a local native guide, ensuring expert support on every cast.
