A new and differentiated sport fishing operation in Barcelos/AM and Santa Isabel do Rio Negro/AM, will certainly cause a revolution in the concepts and standards of sport fishing in the Amazon. Our goal is to provide a high-standard fishing trip in the region using the high-performance fishing Bass Boats - Mega Bass with 115 HP.
The fishing spots are on the Rio Negro, its tributaries, and its surrounding lakes. Rio Negro is the second largest tributary of the Amazon River. Barcelos and Santa Isabel do Rio Negro are the worldwide capital cities of Freshwater Sport Fishing. Almost all IGFA world records for Tucunaré Açú (peacock bass açu type) came from Barcelos’ waters. It’s an amazing place with excellent fishing spots both for fly and bait casting with countless lakes. In this area, you will be able to catch the beautiful peacock bass and the giant Amazon catfish like Piraiba and Pirarara (redtail catfish) along with other several local fish.
This region inside the Amazonian biome offers many attractions, not only with its specimens and the adrenaline involved in fishing, but also with the contemplation of gorgeous scenery, formed by untouched forests, huge flooded areas, white sand beaches, and 1/3 of the world’s biodiversity. A truly unforgettable experience!
The package includes a complete package of 6 fishing days, and 7 nights at a very comfortable lodge that accommodates up to 28 anglers in double occupancy (14 in single occupancy) in suites all equipped with two queen beds, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.
This package includes a one-night hotel in Manaus, all local transfers, and a round trip on a private charter from Manaus to Barcelos. This private flight, leaves Manaus on Sundays, early in the morning, and returns on the following Sunday also in the morning.
Please pay attention to the maximum weight allowed on the private plane: 15 kg + 3 kg carry-on baggage + fishing rods. We suggest anglers schedule their arrival in Manaus two days in advance to avoid delays in the departure of the connecting flights. On the last day return flights home should be scheduled with departure not before 3:00 PM. Manaus time.
An English–Portuguese translator will be available from your arrival to your departure. Translators in other languages will be available upon request.

Structure:
- Lodge with 14 chalets all equipped with two queen beds, air conditioning, and a private bathroom;
- Brazilian classic bass boats with 17 feet with excellent platforms and equipped with Mercury 4-stroke 115HP outboard motor, 70-lb. trolling motor with remote control, anchor swift to explore fishing spots and three 110-amp batteries, Radio, life jackets, large isolated box for beverages, live well with aerator, several compartments, and 110-l [29-gal] fuel capacity;
- Fishing equipment rental included as follows: 2 full fishing rods for Tucunarés [Peacock bass] (per person); 1 full fishing rod for non-scale fish with 3 hooks (per person); Artificial baits, all pliers, original Bodagrip’s, IGFA ruler and lead weights; Warning: The rods loan is conditioned to the previous signing of the responsibility term for proper use of equipment;
- Fishing guide’s professional service (excellent native guides with long experience in the region);
- Nikon A130-camera photography service carried out by the guides. The best photos and videos will be available in high resolution ;
- Full first aid kit (including antiallergic), 12V outlets, shady umbrellas for fishing and lunch in the shade, camping hammocks, director chairs, repellents, sunscreens, barbecue kits, appetizers, and other conveniences for your complete comfort;
- Beach with white sand at the door, with transportation to it, beach service with cooler, sunbeds, and Ombrelones;
- Prizes for the best week and season pieces.

- Other beverages not mentioned may be brought by the anglers (respecting the 33,07 lbs/person weight limit of the charter flight);
- Tipping (we may suggest an average tipping per Team);
